Empowering Disabled Students at UT Austin: The Disability Inclusion Agency (DIA)

The DIA is your one-stop shop for building a strong, inclusive community at UT Austin. We celebrate disability as an integral part of campus life, and we're here to fight for your rights and accessibility.

Here's what we offer:

  • Belonging and Support: We create safe spaces for disabled students to connect, share experiences, and access resources – both on and off-campus.
  • Advocacy and Change: We work with student organizations and the university to influence legislation and create a more accessible campus environment for everyone.
  • Education and Awareness: We host engaging events like Professor Roundtables, ASL Workshops, and Disability History Nights to break down barriers and promote understanding.

Get Involved!

The DIA is all about student power. We welcome new members each semester – applications open in September! Follow us on Instagram (@utsg.dia) to stay connected, learn more about upcoming events, and join our movement for disability inclusion at UT Austin.
